Birmingham Police Receive copies of “Winning A Gunfight”
This year, several Alabama agencies have encountered tragedy. One is the Birmingham Police Department. In January, Sgt. Wytasha Carter was killed and Officer Lucas Allums was critically wounded while working a special detail targeting car break-ins. Last month, Officer Cullen Stafford was critically wounded when he was shot multiple times by an armed robbery suspect. Both of these incidents highlight the increasing dangers officers face each day. Two dozen copies of “Winning A Gunfight” were delivered to Birmingham officers. A special thanks goes out to the Hoover Mail Center who stepped in to make a quick delivery of the books.
